The Turquoise Trail travels through the mountains between Albuquerque and Santa Fe along State Hwy 14 in New Mexico. Along the Turquoise Trail, rural living and traditional communities combine with great outdoor activities, extensive history, and unique restaurants, galleries and shops. A convenient commute to either Santa Fe or Albuquerque, the Turquoise Trail incorporates the towns of Cedar Crest, Tijeras, Golden, Sandia Park, San Marcos, Lone Butte and the Historic villages of Madrid and Cerrillos before reaching Santa Fe, the "city different".
